Papercut Artworks – Unique and Individual
I create papercut artworks using various high quality art papers and a scalpel or craft knife. I love to explore the effects of line and form, light and shade, layering and texture. My aim is to create unique pictures that portray the subject in an unusual and interesting way. Therefore, I can capture the subject’s character and essential spirit. First of all I hand draw each picture referencing photograph(s) of the subject. Then I hand-cut and assemble the paper pieces so each work is truly one of a kind. Furthermore, I create each work with care, attention to detail, and love.
